Last Wednesday we recorded with Kim Kaupe, co-founder of The Superfan Company. She graduated from UF in 2008 and briefly worked with Conde Nast Publications. She realized that she did not enjoy that type of environment, so she founded The Superfan Comany (formerly known as ZinePak). It is a fan engagement agency focused on creating one-of-a-kind products, programs and strategies for entertainers, brands, and celebrities.

Our guest this week is going to be Rachael Wacha, owner of City Auto Repair. She originally started working in salons, but then got a job in the insurance industry. She got pregnant and had a kid, and realized she needed a better job. In 2010 began working at City Auto Repair with her father. She made some great management decisions that eventually doubled the shop’s sales in 2012. Rachael bough the shop from her dad in 2016.

In this episode, we sat down with UF students, Derek Diel and Gabriel Tenaglia of Gatorloop. Gabriel and Derek are the President and VP of Marketing, for GatorLoop. GatorLoop is the University of Florida’s entry into the Hyperloop competition sponsored by SpaceX. Hyperloop is a revolutionary transportation system proposed by Elon Musk that will significantly reduce commute times. Joe and Cindy are the owners of The Magnolia Plantation bed and breakfast. Joe and Cindy met each other as students at UF in the 1970s, and left to Texas after getting married in 1977. They ended up returning in 1990, and restored the Baird Mansion into a bed and breakfast. Since its opening, The Magnolia Plantation has received many honors such as: "Best Bed and Breakfast in Florida" by Florida Living Magazine and "Most Romantic Bed and Breakfast in Florida" by Most Romantic Escapes in Florida guidebook.

Kristin Kozelsky is a the owner and principal photographer of Indigo & Co. Photography. She has been operating it since 2010. Her goal is to create a safe space for people and allow them to be comfortable so that she can accurately depict who they are. Kristin feels that type of connection shows through her photos. She has degrees in Anthropology and Archeology from Florida State University and the University of Albany. This episode premieres on December 31.
